About
UK based artist working mainly in acrylic, across landscape, still life and florals. Drawn to colour, light and bold, expressive application.
My name is Gemma Yates and I'm a painter from the UK. I love to paint natural forms such as flowers, trees, figures and thriving landscapes. I paint with a broad palette of colours and with a style of painting that blends illustrative and impressionist techniques. I hope to give the viewer a sense of joy through my work.
